The CMI Work Life Balance programme

12 Weeks One-to-One Coaching 

The Impact
This one-to-one coaching programme will help busy individuals to:

  • define their own work life balance

  • raise awareness and understanding of what really motivates them and to tap into this

  • encourage the discovery of the power of positive thinking/attitudes in achieving balance and success

  • develop a plan which will allow them to be more effective in their work and at the same time maintain a balance

What is Covered 
This would take place either face to face or over the telephone and each session would last approx 45 minutes.  The following is covered during the programme and can be tailored if required:-
 

Intake Session – where the person is now 

Exploring Personal Motivators – defining values

Exploring the belief system (which turns our potential on or off)

Health and well-being;

Defining the individuals work life balance formula 

Creating a Life & Work Vision & Mission

Setting Balanced Goals

Action Planning

One Day Workshop

The Impact
Knowing how to have a balanced life is key for all employees, to ensure a successful fulfilled life in both professional and personal terms. This workshop will help you:

  • Define your ideal work life balance

  • Understand your current situation

  • Explore how to be more effective at work without it taking over your life

  • Create an action plan to work on and develop further

  • Adjusting your work life balance over time.  This is just the start of a process of awareness, commitment and flexibility

  • Coaching you to take action for a positive way forward.

This workshop is for all levels of employees, and organisations could use this as part of an overall Work Life Balance programme, as part of meeting HSE Stress Management Guidelines or as part of an induction programme which will assist in attracting and retaining talent.

A Half Day Workshop for Senior Managers/Directors

The Impact

This half day workshop will help Leaders to:

  • Define what Work Life Balance is and how it can impact the organisation’s performance

  • Promote a greater understanding of what stress can do to the individual and how this impacts the organisation

  • Understand the legal implications of stress for the business (including Health & Safety Executive guidelines)

  • Sample some of the content of the one-day Work Life Balance programme, i.e. work on their own work life balance

What is Covered    

  • Discussion of what Work Life Balance is

  • The business case for a positive Work Life Balance approach

  • Current level of balance for the individual – within and outside the working environment

  •  Health & Well-being

  • Stress – how to recognise it and what impact it can have

  • The legal implications for the business regarding stress

  •  Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines on auditing and managing stress in the organisation

  • Personal Motivators – how they affect performance and relationships

Who Is This For? 
This workshop is designed for Senior Management/Board Level Directors who are looking to adopt a Work Life Balance culture, gain an understanding of the implications of stress in the work place and who may potentially offer the one day workshop/one-to-one coaching to their team members.
